A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS TIME

Will Netanyahu bomb Iran? It’s a big question and perhaps rather urgent. At least according to today’s Australian, and former US envoy to the UN, John Bolton, PM Netanyahu of Israel has 3 days to do the deed if he wants to get in before Iran is finally set up for things nuclear at its Bushehr plant. The world, or at least Pakistan and Russia, is already in a dreadful state reflected in the ghastly life-and-death style Saturn/Pluto square in the heavens (Pakistan was born under the conjunction of same and now this aspect is arousing negative potential).

But are we on the edge of terrible things elsewhere and in the Middle East? The slow forming square is perfectly exact this Saturday 21st Aug, itself incidentally the day of Australia’s election, which given events so far is a power struggle that may be expected to have a close finish and perhaps a confused, indecisive one too with Mercury just going retrograde. (I hope recounts won't add to the joys).

ISRAEL ON THE LINE

I’d been wondering what Israel might do this month when I saw the lunation of the 10th of this month hitting right at 17 degrees Leo on Israel’s Saturn at 16 degrees of the sign in its destiny and leadership house. Heavy decisions for the leadership certainly, but perhaps delayed action, or loss through delay which is an outcome Bolton seems to imagine.

Mars (war and aggression) at the time of lunation didn’t and doesn’t strongly point to the action that evidently some deem (more or less) advisable. On the other hand, the alternative pattern for a nation is always its leader’s chart and this is heavy for Netanyahu. The lunation was conjunct his Pluto – really heavy, potential life and death issues - plus at the time his Mars was conjunct his Neptune. He could act with stealth (he would probably need to!) or receive confusing unhelpful advice during this period.

There are two sides in a war, so it would be useful to know just what the chart for Iran should be, but if it’s the one some give out for the return of Ayatollah Khomenei with all that has involved for the shape of Iran ever since, we could be looking at significance. For this pattern the last lunation fell in aspect to Iran’s Pluto at 19 Libra (its sextile is the element of opportunity for the plant) while Saturn opposed its Ascendant (the body/people of the nation) and bellicose Mars was opposite its rising moon, while transiting Pluto affects its leadership/destiny axis. This could signal a nation about to be attacked – unless (since free will does exist) it simply reflects a nation that fears attack and takes the kind of definitive action towards going nuclear that it sees as defensive and it seems determined to pursue at this season. And the mentioned sextile to specifically Pluto (much associated with the nuclear)signals that.

Frankly, if it weren’t I don’t see Mars seriously significant as a clincher for Israel at the last lunation (but maybe for the shock and surprise factor and global effect politically of attacking a nuclear plant one ought to be looking rather at, say, tr. Uranus on the world point) I would say there’s little question something dramatic will happen shortly. But it’s known people have said Israel could strike in August or later. November has been suggested. I don’t find the last eclipse (the broad framework for all action) too significant for Israel either, except that at the time of it Venus (ruler of Israel’s enemies house) was in a position degree exact opposite the position of this month’s full moon on the 24th. And full moons do tend to bring things to a head. Perhaps crucial events will take place a little later this month than expected and Israel will refuse to be hurried.

AN EARLIER STAR OVER PERSIA PROHPECY

Among Christian prophets Timothy Snodgrass is a bit more reliable than some and he also makes the kind of national forecasts few venture into. He certainly foresaw the 2004 Asian tsunami. In February he reported a horrendous vision of a star falling over Iran and bombs and explosions of such force he was much alarmed and even maintained he wasn’t allowed to say all he experienced in connection with this event. There was no timing as he seemed to believe what was implied was not 100% inevitable, but I take it the general implication was something would be happening this year.

It’s a pity prophets can’t be like the Magi of Christ’s birth and work with astrology. Snodgrass is always citing eclipses and stellar events without understanding their possible meaning or relevance and sometimes there’s none at so that he makes himself sound too vague or over dramatic. If prophets could work with astrology they might be more precise and able to overcome especially the old problem of timing events. However as in this case astrologers themselves would like to know just what the true birth data for Iran are.

It was more astro analysis than prophecy, but I think the most recent declarations from Obama world with the White House celebration of Ramadan last Friday and the defence of the mosque to be built near Ground Zero, endorse the astro profiles of Obama I have given on this Blog. If he isn't a Muslim he might as well be so.
