A MAORI ELDER'S FORECAST

A Maori elder, Kerei Tia Toa, also known as Gray Theodore an historian and retired Anglican priest, released a prophecy earlier this year. It is one that, oddly enough, he has kept to himself half a lifetime but suddenly gone public about. He alleges he was shown “by the Lord” the destruction of the capital of NZ by quake and tsunami. He never reported this in thirty eight years but last year believed he was told by God to inform the nation's leaders. He saw no way of doing this but finally managed more or less accidentally to do so last February at a Waitangi Day ceremony.

It’s not that Wellington like LA hasn’t long been expecting some kind of quake, but the vision if true appears to point to a distinctly radical event, worse than Christchurch and much else. Even houses on the hills were seen to disappear and the parliament house lay in ruins, body bags were everywhere in the streets. The visionary was never given any timing and date except that when it would occur it would be in the month of June. Release of this word after so long presumably implies imminence of the event which if it doesn’t occur this year, or at least within the biblically significant 40 years, would likely be false.

UNDER THE ECLIPSES

I am unfamiliar with the astrology of New Zealand and I gather that - like notoriously America - it is confused by the use of several charts for various treaty and political foundational moments. On the Net one such date is given as January 17 1853 for the Act of Constitution. On any chart an event of the major proportions envisaged would normally be evident not least from patterns at the time of the nearest previous eclipse. We have just had a solar eclipse at 11.22 Gemini. Astrologers see this as a rather weak eclipse, as weak as the soon lunar eclipse is strong.

For the 1853 chart the eclipse has just fallen on the cusp of its 8th house of debts and death; Uranus of the shocks and surprises is degree square the national Mercury (news, communications) while magnifying, hence not invariably fortunate, Jupiter which has quite an association with quakes has been conjuncted to the degree by Mars. I do see a few other things but enough said. Frankly this doesn’t have to amount to a quake because the eighth house also covers national debt and the nation is currently wallowing in issues around that, so perhaps that’s the theme for now and the year from now; but one must be suspicious given release of Kerei's forecast at this time.

In another chart, the Dominion Chart of 26th September 1907, I see that at today’s eclipse Uranus (shocks, surprises, accidents) is opposite the national Venus ruler of the pattern's fourth house of the land which is something one should always look at for quakes. Mars was also conjunct the national moon (general symbol of homes and homeland). But rather importantly, the lunar eclipse of a fortnight’s time which follows today’s solar eclipse falls degree exact opposite the national Pluto in the first house of the body of the people. While ordinarily and at one octave Pluto has a lot to do with finances and tycoons, it does at another octave bear special relation to force majeure and death. Again I suppose one could give the low reading and say that the national finances will be affecting the national psyche and property prices in the immediate and over coming months.

…..But….in view of the given alleged revelation, an astrological case for major disturbance looks as though it can be made. Plus I have checked and seen that using a different type of eclipse analysis, the often correct Richard Nolle lists NZ (though not solely NZ) as one of the places for possible geocosmic stress by both solar and lunar eclipses of this month.

Altogether it would seem advisable to tread rather carefully and be on alert in Wellington if one is living there (it’s a very attractive city to live in), and if one is abroad to avoid travel there if possible. At the first shake it would seem wise to flee to highest ground and not wait for any possible tsunamis. There's a lot of nearby harbour and sea to cause mega havoc!

On a different tack, in a few days, probably the 6th, I will release some special information on Facebook. I hadn’t reckoned to put out any Blog before then, but in view of what has reached me about the NZ forecast, just in case, I am putting these observations up. If any astrologer colleague provides special knowledge and insight re NZ astrology I shall adjust the picture accordingly.
