TOWARDS RELEASE

I was delighted to read the latest news around Israeli soldier and prisoner Gilad Shalit and pleased to have forecast so near the mark about him too.

In my January Blog I observed that this year there was a helpful sign for Shalit from the January eclipse. However, as can happen with eclipses, I said its promise might hold off till specifically stimulated. Accordingly things would likely wait at very least until Jupiter got into Taurus (in June) and then the lunation affecting September when with its full moon on the prisoner’s Jupiter it would waken things up.

I see that things have been hotting up since Gilad's birthday on 28th August but right on the day of the full moon (11th Sept) I read news through the Net and Haaretz that now a group of American Muslims are awaiting a reply from the (rather implacable) Hamas recommending his release. At the time of writing a couple of days later I see no report of reply yet, but what has happened still looks like a major move and change in the Shalit affair.

If we knew Shalit’s birth time the situation might be clearer, but though I trust things will now continue on through to release, I hope it will do so reasonably quickly as otherwise the subject might get lost to other concerns. The lunation at the end of this month is tense and tricky for Israel and if hostilities were to break out either the Shalit issue could be dropped or it would get resolved another way – the IDF simply managing to take him as at the beginning of the year it was saying it would make efforts to do.

The coming lunation (27th September) is still helpful to Shalit with its semi-sextile to his sun, but the current fortunate and helpful transit of liberating Uranus to Shalit’s difficult and imprisoning natal Saturn even when making that promising aspect is still a bit hampered by the current square of the power games Pluto to this Uranus factor. (And Shalit is caught amid power games!). So….. the best I can see without a birth time is that either Shalit will get out this month with the transiting fated nodes conjunct his natal Saturn, or, perhaps more likely after what has now happened, following some coming and going and negotiations, around the beginning of November. Jupiter will then be fortunately trine his sun and the previous lunation has made opportunity aspect to his natal sun.

LOST AMID PSALMS

I am not sure what ought to be the Joseph-in-Egypt type Shalit’s psalm, but I have been somewhat lost amid psalms since return from a trip to China in July which however memorable was a knock out for health. I was given a cornucopia of antibiotics in Hong Kong just to be able to fly back to Australia on time as I could hardly speak or stop coughing for the effects of Beijing pollution. That apart, the trip was very interesting even though it was disappointing not to have been able to visit Tibet as planned due to the fact China (fearing a version of Arab spring, it's thought) suddenly closed the region to foreign tourists for the end of June and most of July.

The changes of plan have nevertheless been helpful for the swirl of ideas I have had for religion, art, mysticism and so on, and not long back from China I started on a book. The tentative title is The Great Circle: Asia, David and God Consciousness. It feels like the most exciting thing I have written, there’s such a wide range getting explored including the latest on how the brain reacts to types of spiritual practices. It will also be the last major book I intend to undertake, the effort is too great, the reward too little for the trouble and after this articles I know I shall be content suffice. Also with this subject matter I shall have come full circle from the first published and critically successful, The Expansion of God in 1982 which was about cultural problems of Christianity in Asia.

My writing is one of the reasons I have not been attentive to this Blog and I shall probably not be so again until at least until I am finished in hopefully a few weeks at which time the next thing to put out is my Puer Poems. Currently we are working here on a few problems of the cover. Issue of the collection won’t represent another example of a poetaster’s vanity publishing. This will be more like the belated (years late) issue of a literary scandal. The state of non publication, was effectively a form of arts community pre-censorship directed upon work highly recommended by people whose opinion would normally be respected in the area. I give the shocking story in the Introduction.

HOW USEFUL IS FACEBOOK?

….Not that I am expecting the interest and support that might be fair and natural in the circumstances. Shocking stories seem to follow me around to the point I am used to them. I have in fact just about lost faith in the ability of even Facebook to generate any kind of proper support or its "Friends" to mean anything in a case like mine. I obtained a number of "friends" to the list and specifically, as I explained to them, in relation to some important forthcoming information that could well be of relevance and interest to them as persons concerned with church history, theology etc. This was all with regard to publication of Christianity’s Destiny, the astrology of Pentecost which as I demonstrate produces the most spectacular and also hard to refute information, the very names and issues for the religion graphically turning up with help from the modern astrology that includes name, place and concept asteroids as they interrelate with such as the Parts like Part of Revelation etc. C.S.Lewis, Bonhoeffer, Thomas Aquinas, all turn up in suitable places and ways for the total picture. It's information unprecedented in Christian history and I dubbed it a form of celestial wikileaks it's so exceptional.

People could get the idea from even just the surprising blurb cited. Two “Friends” bothered to reply to the messages I sent out on release of the promised information and only one of them because I wrote asking why I hadn’t received any reply. Too busy at their studies, too cynical, too skeptical, too incurious, too ungracious, too anti astrology, too vainly fearful of reputation from the threat of unusual subject matter, too unchristian, too just something or anything to be bothered. I feel justly angry. Thanks but no thanks to the greater part of so called Facebook “friends”. You're perverse and if you're Christians you're as blind and unready as the five of the ten maidens of the parable or the too busy people that are condemned in the parable of the wedding feast where nobody invited bothers to act on the invitation.

After that I shall know better than to waste time and effort appealing to any gays to look at the gay interest and issues raised by Puer Poems. (I explained to several gay Christian groups on Facebook the extreme relevance of some of the revelations of the Pentecost pattern. Again no response). I have consistently experienced gays whether spiritual or secular as unsupportive for any important issue I have tackled. Years ago, none of them in the publications field ever helped or showed interest with regard to getting the poetry out, and why should they when almost none bothered about even my world first doctorate on gay spiritualities?

So the case is hopeless and I must leave them to go to their parties and parades. There are other people and things in life than the no “friends” Christians and gays of Facebook and that of course includes prisoners; and as at the beginning of the year I continue to hope that Gilad Shalit and also Bradley Manning will arrive at freedom.
